How can I get the carbon fiber in silence?
I received an Apexi muffler carbon fiber. I have a Hyundai Elantra 2004. I will do editing myself that I can weld and bend pipe I need. My question is that the actions of soldiers in silencing have hooks to hang the body forward in the silent rubber mounts on the car body. I can not do this because it is a CF silence. What would be the best way to do this? I saw the pictures of some of the mufflers that come with installation kits come with some kind of band that wraps around the exhaust, then hung up the body, so no welding. Ideas? and where can I get the parts needed?
It should have come with a strap that clamps around the body to hangers for welding, if not call Apex'i. About your only other option is to do something like running or weld the metal end of the scarf to meet its own standard stainless steel muffler. Also sure to use the appropriate child for steel welding in the case in absolute silence.
