Strange are the ways of fashion and with it, you never know when they hijack high tech sports gears such as Nike Dunks. For starters, it was wonderful of Nike, the makers of Nike Dunk Sb, to have thought of a low profile, light soled and revised panel shoes to help basketball players to pivot and balance. They made Nike Dunks to match uniforms of all the college teams they signed up for promotional campaigns.
Believe me; what followed next is history, as they say. Young teeny things today ask whether they can wear Nike Dunks to parties, and if it is okay if the colors are glowing green and yellow. To me, this can only mean that it has completely caught the imagination of an entire generation after generation and for all the years it has been around.
This brings me to dig a bit deeper into what makes them rock for so long with so much cult. First off, perhaps you can’t expect to have so much valor elsewhere outside Nike Dunks and particularly so with Nike Dunks Sb. The dash of brave colors, mostly contrasting and glowing, and simply the kick of wearing it make it fit to fall in love the moment you lay your hands on them.
Use them for skateboarding or playing a match or even to shake a leg at some party, they just give you the sense of belonging wherever you are doing whatever you like. Nike Dunks occupy the whole of you the moment you see them. Models are countless, Nike Dunks Sb, Highs, Lows, Mids, Jordunks and custom; just made to match an occasion and what you are wearing.
I think I need to make a special mention of Custom Nike Dunks which are made from their own original selves by painting, dying, and all other things to give them rocking face.
Now for a little bit of nice technicalities – Nike Dunks just hold as much as three ounces of leather and six ounces of rubber. As for colors, rest assured, you can let loose your imagination- it is not for nothing that they are the hot selling shoes. Icing on the cake is their versatility with which you can use them with unmatched interchangeability.
Probably, even the makers may not have thought about this as they prepared to launch Nike Dunks, if they planned to target teenage basketball payers, they are now probably skateboarders’ number one choice, even though a huge number of people at Nike don’t think that way.
Last week I read a piece of review on the brand. No need to say it was from a Nike Dunk Sb fan, but it sums up why they are a hit even today. “They are special because of their uncanny ability to combine the hot Nike Dunks Sb ever into one pair of shoes. If you have an eye, you will undoubtedly see parts of the Pigeons, the Denims the Jedi’s, the Luckies and Unluckies, and what notâ€.
